CATCH & RELEASE - TSQ PROJECT
Sometimes we need to source joy when we are in pain and sometimes we need to sit in it. Sometimes we are ecstatic with love and other times love hurts us. With this piece, the artists were asked to show up for themselves in whatever way they needed, in that moment. They were told to feel and share with the audience whatever it is they were experiencing; happiness, grief, wonder, fear. Times Square Project has been a source for artists to realign with their ‘why’; a space to have free reign to express whatever it is they want to share. No stakeholders shifting the narrative. No box office numbers to surpass. No agenda. Just sharing art for art sake.
